TV Program

Ministry in Spanish Churches

Dr. Sunny Philip has ministered in many Hispanic fellowships and mission conferences. The featured image shows him ministering in a Spanish church in Puerto Rico during one of his trips there. This relationship with Spanish fellowships was started by his late father -in-law who grounded many Hispanic believers in the word of God through his in depth Bible studies.

Ministry in GONCIL Conference

The Global Network of Christian Indian Leaders was formed based on a vision God gave to Dr. Philip to use his connections among the Indian Diaspora to create a new awareness of an Indian Christian body that spans the globe and encourage leaders among this body to network with each other. The featured image shows him preaching in the second International Leadership Conference of GONCIL in Mumbai, India.

Ministry in S. Africa

God miraculously opened the strong links Dr. Philip has with South Africa using an African minister he knew. That bond has become very strong and Dr. Philip is well known in the Indian community there. The featured image shows him with Indian Christian leaders and GONCIL leaders in a tent crusade in Richards Bay, South Africa.

Grace Awakening features the teaching ministry of Pastor Sunny Philip, the Senior Pastor of Gateway Christian Center in Valley Stream, NY. He is respected in many parts of the world as a minister committed to ‘rightly dividing the Word of God.’ His preaching and teaching style is sometimes referred to as ‘Pentecostal Expository Preaching,’ since it carries the anointing and strong presence of God of Pentecostal tradition, but at the same time carries the expository preaching style of renowned Bible teachers.

Pastor Philip had a love for the word of God since his childhood years. But, as many others in our generation, he went away from the Lord for a while and struggled even after he came back to the Lord for sometime. So much so that when God called him to enter into ministry, he totally refused. It took a continuous visitation from God that lasted for six months before he finally said yes to God. Almighty God continued to surprise him by taking further and further into ministry until he found himself in full time ministry in 1994.

Since he fully surrendered his life for ministry, God has used Pastor Philip as a conference and revival speaker in all continents of the world. Pastor Philip walks in humility before the Lord knowing that he is an unworthy vessel into which God chose to invest His grace and anointing.

He has written four books and numerous articles in many publications. His books “Burned Bricks: Can God Still Use You?” and “Becoming A person of God” are available at Amazon.com or directly from us.
